Put yourself anywhere — or just clean up the background
BG Doctor separates the person from everything behind them, then lets you decide what happens to the background — soften it, drop it out completely, swap in a clean color, or drop yourself in front of a famous landmark. Pick a built-in backdrop (the Eiffel Tower, the Colosseum, a tropical beach and more), then drag yourself into place, resize, and add a soft shadow so it sits in the scene. The subject's face, hair, and clothing are copied straight from your original photo, so they stay exactly as sharp as you shot them.

What people use it for
YouTube thumbnails. A thumbnail is judged at about 210 pixels wide in the sidebar, and smaller than that on a phone. At that size a busy background stops being scenery and becomes noise, and it takes your face down with it. Pull a frame out of your video and choose Remove for a transparent PNG of just you, or Replace with a flat colour your title text can sit on.
Headshots. If an agent or casting director said your headshot is strong but the background is too busy, you usually don't need a reshoot. A heavier blur, or a clean neutral replacement, puts the attention back on your face while keeping the photographer's lighting and your expression intact.
Frequently asked questions
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. The whole tool runs inside your browser. Your photo is never sent to a server and never leaves your computer. The first time you use it, a small image model downloads to your browser and is cached, so later visits are instant and even work offline.
How do I cut myself out of a photo for a YouTube thumbnail?
Drop in the frame and choose Remove to get a transparent PNG of just you, ready to drop onto a 1280×720 thumbnail template. If you'd rather keep a background, Replace swaps in a flat colour or a backdrop that won't fight your title text.
Can I put myself in front of a famous landmark or change my background to a new place?
Yes — choose Replace and pick a built-in backdrop (the Eiffel Tower, the Colosseum, the Taj Mahal, a tropical beach and more), or upload your own. The tool drops you into the scene; drag yourself around, resize, blur the backdrop, and add a soft shadow so it looks natural. It all runs in your browser, so your photo is never uploaded.
Will it blur or soften my face?
No. Only the background is changed. The subject is composited back from your original image, pixel for pixel, so the person stays as sharp as the original.
Can I get a transparent PNG?
Yes — choose Remove and download a PNG with a fully transparent background.
There's a faint dark edge after removing the background.
That's a thin rim of the old background blended into the subject's outline. Raise the Edge cleanup slider a notch or two to trim it away.
The thumbnail is one piece of it
Cutting yourself out is the fast part. The title has to earn the click the thumbnail set up, the description and tags decide who ever sees either, and the Shorts have to come out of the same video. YouPush does that whole pass from your finished file and uploads the result.
